About Reflexology Reflexology is a non-invasive, holistic therapy commonly practised on the feet, moving on to the hands and/or ears where physical restraints (contraindications), such as Verruca or fractures apply. Each foot has over 7,000 nerve endings and by stimulating specific points using varying degrees of pressure one can encourage the body’s natural ability to heal itself. These specific reflex points correspond to the glands, organs and structure of the body. Reflexology can be used to treat conditions that affect the whole body or problems within a certain area. It works by helping to alleviate pain, reduce the severity of a condition and lessen the re-occurrence of a problem. Relaxation and stress relief can also be achieved using Reflexology. Benefits and Effects
Just a few of the conditions that are eased by Reflexology
The majority of people respond immediately to Reflexology and start to feel the benefits straight after the session; also energy levels are boosted noticeably within a day of the treatment. The number of treatments required varies from client to client as everyone is unique. The frequency of treatments takes into account the severity of your condition, your general health, your sensitivity to Reflexology and other lifestyle changes that you have made. A treatment plan will be agreed at your first consultation. Testimonials "Having had several months of physiotherapy and ultra sound for a nerve entrapment, I appeared to be at a standstill in my progress. I was still experiencing numbness and tingling in my left arm and fingers. However, I had immediate results from Reflexology and following further treatments this led to increased range and movement in my neck and remarkable improvement in the numbness and tingling sensations. I will certainly continue to have regular Reflexology treatments with Sian to maintain my health." Mrs D Steel
